Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks set to be released for Xbox consoles.
Two and half years after its original release, an Xbox Series X/S version has been classified by the US Entertainment Software Rating Board.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits was released in September 2021 as a timed exclusive for PS5, PS4, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
In an interview published to coincide with the game’s release, Ember Lab co-founder and COO Josh Grier said the studio wasn’t ruling out bringing the game to other platforms in the future.
“We are currently focused on our launches for PlayStation and Epic Games Store, which are timed exclusives,” he said. “We will look into other platform releases after launch and a rest.”
The title received a Steam release in September 2022, alongside an anniversary update which introduced features like New Game+.
Kena is “a story-driven, action adventure combining exploration with fast-paced combat,” according to Ember Lab.
It challenges players to “untangle the past as Kena, a young Spirit Guide in search of the sacred Mountain Shrine. Help free the spirits trapped in a forgotten village with the help of the Rot, her adorable (yet powerful) spirit companions.”
The game was well received by critics, garnering scores of 76 (PS4), 81 (PS5) and 83 (PC) on review aggregation site Metacritic.
