After much speculation and criticism from fans and fellow streamers, JustaMinx has finally addressed the controversy surrounding the Streamer Awards 2023, which reportedly led to her shutting down the event. The QTCinderella's Streamer Awards second edition was held on March 11th and proved to be QT's most-watched stream ever, with a peak viewership of 580,159 and an average of 426,670 viewers.
However, controversy arose due to JustaMinx's alleged behavior at the after-party, causing a stir within the online streaming community. QT claimed that JustaMinx had agreed not to drink at the after-party due to past incidents where she became unsafe, yet, JustaMinx reportedly became heavily intoxicated and had to be removed by security, with allegations of resistance and accidentally hitting her head. This led to the party being shut down, and a Twitter feud erupted between JustaMinx and QTCinderella, with QT providing evidence of their agreement not to drink.

During a March 14th stream, QTCinderella stated that she had attempted to assist JustaMinx with her addiction, but JustaMinx was unreceptive to seeking help. However, on March 18th, QTCinderella apologized and acknowledged that it was inappropriate to publicize JustaMinx's personal struggles. In a subsequent Twitch stream, JustaMinx acknowledged her borderline alcoholism and assured her fans that she is taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle. She stated that she needs to recognize when to stop drinking at social events and described her parents' concerns after the recent incident in Los Angeles.
