The BAFTA Games Awards 2023, hosted last night at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall and live streamed to the world, saw Sony Santa Monica's God of War Ragnarök dominating the ceremony with five prizes won. It is a repeat performance of the previous installment, which also cleaned up at the BAFTA Games Awards 2019 with five wins.
God of War Ragnarök brought home the prizes for the Animation, Audio, Music, Performer in a Leading Role (Christopher Judge as Kratos), and Performer in a Supporting Role (Laya Deleon Hayes as Angrboða) categories. It also won the Game of the Year award voted by the public, which would technically be a sixth victory for the studio, although it is formally counted separately from the awards selected by the judges.
FromSoftware's Elden Ring, poncle's Vampire Survivors, and TUNIC/FINJI's Tunic were the only other multi-winners of the BAFTA Games Awards 2023 event, bringing home two awards each. You can find the full list of winners below.
