Fast X is approaching its May release date. Besides the action-packed trailer that premiered last month, fans of the franchise can now be fully briefed on Dominic Toretto's new mission, as both the movie’s official synopsis and a new poster went up online.
The Fast and Furious saga will head into its penultimate entry with a fearsome villain played by Jason Momoa, whose origins date back to Fast Five. In the preview, Dom and Letty enjoy their new lives until Dante barges in to threaten his family and friends. Like any Fast and Furious film, the first teaser focuses on the stunts, yet it closes off with a cautionary message that may hint at one of the crew members not making out of this one.

According to the Fast X official website, despite overcoming “many missions and against impossible odds,” Dom and company are about to face their most lethal enemy ever, a blast from the past, drug lord Hernan Reyes' son, Dante. Per the description, Dante was always standing in the background, watching how the Fast and Furious gang took down his father's empire in Rio de Janeiro, and he’s “spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.” Along with the synopsis, the Fast X poster puts Dom front and center, flanked by Momoa and Charlize Theron, who will be the two main threats he’ll have to face.
The lower part of the image features the starting grid of a race in Rio, where the giant Cristo Redentor statue gives away one of the many locations Fast X will visit. The movie is also set to take the crew to places like Rome, London, Portugal, and even Antarctica, aside from their native Los Angeles. With so many places on the list, it’s no wonder
