It's finally been confirmed that E3 2023 has been cancelled, as the event is no longer taking place as it couldn't "garner the sustained interest necessary" for it to go ahead.

This news was confirmed by IGN, which has received an email from two anonymous sources that was sent out by the ESA to its official members. It states that while E3 "remains a beloved event and brand", it simply didn't have enough attendees to "showcase the size, strength, and impact of our industry."
