You’d think that there wouldn’t be a lot of MMOs coming out in the future because of the state of games and how they’re being played. But you’d be wrong. 2023 alone has multiple ones coming out. Here are a few of them in no particular order.

The Quinfall is another upcoming fantasy MMORPG looking to be a player-driven experience. It’s worth pointing out that this game also comes from a new studio, Vawraek Studios, which was only established in 2021. So far, we know that the game has a variety of storylines to unfold, from dealing with monstrous gods, a growing civil war between the lands to meeting dozens of unique characters with their own deep storylines to get lost within. We also know that there is more focus on player’s customization options giving your character a unique look and even profession as you chart out your journey in this fantasy world.

Ashfall is a bit like Fallout if you’re familiar with that franchise. AI has taken control and unleashed nuclear strikes against humanity in this game. Now after the wreckage has cleared, only a shell of our former life is left. Ruins of once prosperous cities lay on the desolated lands. What’s left with humanity is forced to scavenge for whatever resources have survived and try to take back the claim of the land. But now the world is anything but stable with other human factions roaming around, mutated beasts, robots, and other critters trying to take control of this new world order. Will you survive or fall victim to the wasteland?
