Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker James Gunn has taken to social media to call out his three biggest movie-making pet peeves. The director is gearing up for the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will hit theaters next year. His most recent creative work is Peacemaker, which is currently streaming on HBO Max.
For many, becoming a filmmaker is a dream, and most viewers would agree Gunn has been very fortunate throughout his career. As an influential player in both the Marvel and DC worlds, Gunn is lucky enough to bring some of his favorite comic book characters to life and make an impact on audiences around the globe. However, anyone who's watched behind-the-scenes videos of any big-budget tentpole know making movies can be very challenging, and there are certain aspects about the process that annoy even someone like Gunn.

With the first season of Peacemaker now fully available to stream on HBO Max, and James Gunn’s Marvel projects back on the front burner, the filmmaker is still taking time to engage with his fans on social media. In fact, he recently go in on the “ask me my top three” trend on Twitter. When asked by a fan about his top three pet peeves when working on a movie, he called out some notable on-set complaints. Gunn wrote:
Actors not having lines memorized, Above the line people being rude to PAs, when it’s too hot on set!
So even a seasoned veteran like Gunn is not without his own complaints when it comes to working on movies. His pet peeves are certainly understandable. Given the amount of preparation that goes into getting ready for a shoot, it's easy to see why he'd be annoyed by actors forgetting lines.
