There’s no new Peacemaker episode now that the series has capped off the DCEU's HBO Max debut with an exciting finale. That means the series’ signature intro dance will continue to live in the memory of viewers and, of course, writer and director James Gunn, who has taken to sharing step-by-step dance moves with his followers.
Peacemaker was created as an unfancied The Suicide Squad spinoff, given the superhero’s relative lack of recognition when compared to other DC superheroes. Nevertheless, Gunn's writing created a show that, beyond its comedic exploits, packed a ton of emotional baggage. As it turns out, Christopher Smith's solo adventure did well enough to warrant a second season forPeacemaker, a feat nearly half of the Justice League has had a tougher time attaining.
Peacemaker Is So Good Its Plotholes Are Easy To Forgive
With that kind of success, it’s easy to imagine Gunn enjoying himself, especially on Twitter where he often shares news and exclusive info with fans. Only this time, Gunn happens to share a 12-step breakdown of how to do the “Peacemaker dance.” The show has single-handedly turned the 2009 song (fairly modern for Peacemaker's standards) “Do Ya Wanna Taste It?” into a hit, helping the Norwegian glam metal band experience a slight resurgence in their career as the track rose all the way to number one on the iTunes Rock chart and steadily climbed the ranking in other services.
Although Gunn couldn’t properly credit the user who made the image when he posted it, Twitter made sure to let know @kadusaurus that the Guardians of the Galaxy mastermind loved his memeworthy work. Those more rhythmically challenged are in luck, because the choreography itself is nothing out of this world. Still, the “rainbow arms”
