According to the leaker, Intel's 1st Gen Core Ultra CPUs codenamed Meteor Lake will be featuring clock speeds of and beyond 5 GHz. The Core Ultra 7 CPUs (formerly Core i7) are said to reach up to 5 GHz single-core frequencies while the higher-end Core Ultra 9 CPUs (formerly Core i9) will reach speeds beyond 5 GHz.
