Bot worlds have a variety of robotic enemies you can find and defeat in , but the Hulk is the greatest challenge you'll face among these metallic foes. Even a group of brave soldiers might struggle against the sheer firepower of this walking war machine. However, this mini-boss has a clear weakness you can exploit if you are patient and brave enough under fire.
Hulks are an Automatonenemy you can encounter as you complete missions on Bot planets. Eight different kinds of robot foes also have a chance to spawn during a Bot Drop, but every hostile robot deployed is randomly determined. No hidden features in will let you prepare for a Hulk's arrival, so you need to be ready for the possibility that one might appear at any Drop.
A specific type of mission called is the only way to always guarantee a Hulk to spawn, but this type of objective may not appear all the time as you visit Bot worlds.
The best way to beat a Hulk is to attack it from all sides with teammates, aim for the heat vent on its back, and use Stratagems to destroy any other enemies. The heavy armor of this automaton gives it a lot of protection against nearly all of your weapons. Only the Railgun has the best chance to injure a Hulk in, but you may not be able to get this weapon consistently.
The only weak point on a Hulk is a red heat vent on its back, which you should target every chance you get. During co-op multiplayer in , one person can distract the robot while others aim for this vulnerable spot with their best weapons, grenades, or other damaging tools. Setting up a Turret is a great strategy for solo players to lure a Hulk away from them while they open fire on the vent relentlessly.
While you could try to destroy the Bot Dropship that deploys a Hulk to the battlefield, these ships typically have a ton of health and would take almost all of your available ammo to take down.
