Cyberpunk 2077, arguably more than any other massive open world RPG out there, is crammed with secrets, references, and Easter eggs celebrating the video game industry, CD Projekt Red, and the games we all love. Think of any popular IP released in the past two decades, and you'll more than likely find a secret or two referencing it, whether that be GTA, Death Stranding, The Matrix, Sailor Moon, Mortal Kombat, The Witcher 3, and plenty more.
Fans of the title are still finding little secrets to this day, but you'll struggle to find one more devious than the discovery that Twitter user Crushovitz made earlier this week, one which even multiple developers at CD Projekt Red thought might never be found. Cyberpunk 2077 quest director Pawel Sasko and producer Monika Janowska both congratulated Crushovitz on the discovery that they made, the latter saying that she's "super happy" it's finally been found, while the former admitting that it was probably "hidden way too well".
Neither Sasko nor Janowska reveal quite how long this little Easter egg has been sitting on the main menu for players to find, but their responses to its discovery suggest it must have been there at least a couple of years at this point. It's also yet another Easter egg
