For those who have purchased the Epic Edition of The War Within, the next expansion for World of Warcraft, you will gain access to a very specific quest that others won't have. This quest is called "Gryphons of a Feather" and comes specifically from a pet you get for purchasing the Epic Edition of The War Within.
First, you'll want to summon Squally, the pet you get from the Epic Edition of the expansion. Once you have summoned Squally, you'll automatically be prompted to accept a quest called "Gryphons of a Feather." You have to find out what is upsetting Squally.
To start this quest, head to Valdrakken and speak to Kurdran Wildhammer (38.34, 94.93) to ask him what upset Squally.
From there, you'll be sent to Stormshroud Peak in Thaldraszus (49.30, 80.25), where you'll be asked to pick up Thundo. Thundo is one of three battle pets you'll be asked to pick up on this quest, all of which are some form of Gryphon. Thundo is the yellow Gryphon battle pet that you will pick up.
After you have retrieved Thundo, you'll be sent to Ohn'ara's Roost in the Ohn'aran Plains (58.39, 31.38), where you'll pick up the second Gryphon, named Gale, who is blue in color. You must sneak up behind Gale; otherwise, he will flap his wings at you to blow you off the cliff.
Finally, you'll be sent to Scalecracker Peaks in The Waking Shores to retrieve Flash (71.15, 25.71), a fiery red color.
Once you have collected all three Gryphon battle pets, summon Squally again, where you can then turn in the quest. By turning in this quest, you'll be given Thundo, Gale, and Flash as summonable battle pets you can use however you like.
That's everything you need to know about how to complete the "Gryphons of a Feather" quest in World of Warcraft, exclusive to the Epic Edition of The War Within. You are rewarded with three additional battle pets to add to your collection by completing it.
