It’s time to put the words of Savage Starlight to the test. Naughty Dog and PlayStation have released a new trailer for The Last of Us Part II Remastered, previewing the newest mode: No Return.
The mode, announced alongside the remaster’s reveal, features roguelike mechanics within the world and gameplay ofThe Last of Us. The stages are randomized, so no two playthroughs will be alike. You’ll need to adapt to your situation and defeat all enemies or complete the stated objective to proceed. Along the way, you can upgrade your weaponry to suit the stage. As you’ll be dying a lot, as seen plenty during the trailer, you’ll be able to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Gameplay modifiers can be used to create a unique and exhilarating run, so even seasoned players can sweat a bit.
