Arrowhead are burning the midnight oils well into the weekend, it seems, as they fight persistent server issues and bugs with Helldivers 2 update 1.009. The patch is out now for both PS5 and PC, with a focus on stability and matchmaking.
This update follows on from another patch that dropped yesterday, which also aimed to resolve crash bugs, improve matchmaking and implement server optimisations.

Unfortunately, the problems keep on piling up and Arrowhead found that one of their databases was overloaded overnight. They’ve put in place a mitigation, but are just trying to keep things steady through the weekend.
Because of the variety of problems that players have faced through the game’s launch week, and in particular with lost mission rewards, Arrowhead has increased payouts by 50% through Sunday 18th.
