Red Dead Redemption 2 remains one of the games with the most impressive graphics, with its vibrant colors giving its version of New Austin a livelier feel. In contrast, the original game evokes a feeling of loneliness with its washed-out color palette.
Given that the only real difference is in the lighting and color palettes, whichever version players prefer is totally subjective.
