Skydance and Marvel first announced this new Captain America and Black Panther game with a brief teaser trailer, showing off a realistic art style and cinematic presentation similar to the MCU. The two heroes are working together to defeat the forces of Hydra in both Paris and Wakanda during World War 2. While Steve Rogers is Captain America, the Black Panther mantle is not donned by T'Challa, but rather his grandfather, Azzuri the Wise. Two more playable characters were also later confirmed to be a part of the game: Gabriel Jones, and Nanli, a soldier of Captain America's Howling Commandos and a spy from Wakanda, respectively. Since the game is set during World War 2, the leaked title makes sense due to the time period and the Hydra organization being the primary antagonist.
This information was provided by a reliable leaker, Twitter user Kurakasis, who has had an accurate track record in the past. They had previously provided information about games before their official reveals, such as Sega's Sonic x Shadow Generations remaster, Bethesda's Indiana Jones game, and the Metro VR titles, among others.
