Haven Studios, the Canadian first-party outfit established by Assassin’s Creed veteran Jade Raymond and immediately inducted into the PS Studios family, is “on track” deliver a “AAA multiplayer experience” with its debut project Fairgame$. That’s according to a job listing for the forthcoming heist shooter, which is seeking a “self-expression producer”. Candidates will work alongside the Live Operations Producer and Economic Designer to deliver “industry leading customisation opportunities to our players”.
Much like Arrowhead’s breakout success shooter Helldivers 2, the Montreal-based team has been tasked with creating a live service game that retains player interest over a prolonged period of time. This is a new initiative from within Sony, as it jealously eyes the income generated by titles like Fortnite and Genshin Impact.
“We’ve made amazing progress in a short time thanks to our talented, passionate team and their exceptional contributions,” the Haven Studios job listing reveals. “We established a culture at Haven grounded in kindness, adaptability, and courage that unlocks creativity. Our first new IP for PlayStation is on track to deliver a AAA multiplayer experience with a vision to build a systemic and evolving world focused on freedom, thrill, and playfulness that will keep players entertained and engaged for years.”

I have very very low expectations for this. They'll have to create something truly revolutionary if they're going to have any hope in this market.
