Season 5 PTR Patch Notes Patch 1.5.0 Datamined Changes
While a Bash nerf was expected during the Season 5 PTR Campfire Chat or in the Patch Notes, it was relatively surprising to see it pop up after the fact. The nerf to Bash's Tempering Affix isn't unwarranted, and it's worth pointing out that the build still feels very strong. Bash may not be quite as powerful as it was before, but it's likely to remain a competitive endgame build in Diablo 4's next season, especially when factoring in all the additions and adjustments to Basic Skills and related gear. We'll have a better understanding of the weight of these changes after spending more time on the PTR.
The overall state of Barbarian seems promising, and new Uniques and Legendary Aspects could add some real depth to existing builds while creating some interesting new ones as well.
