Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink appeared at the PlayStation Showcase with a new gameplay trailer. Check it out below. Coming to PS4, PS5 and PC, the action RPG has been developed for years and faced several delays. However, it now has a release window of Winter 2023, so we’ll see if it’s finally out this year (or early next year).
The trailer confirms two more characters to the already packed roster: Zeta, a spear wielder with a “fiery personality,” and Vaseraga, a hulking fighter who can tank damage. They join the 16 already-confirmed characters, and Cygames promised that more are coming in addition to other features.
While each fighter has a unique play style, they complement party composition in several ways. Playing solo sees the AI controlling the other three party members, but Granblue Fantasy: Relink also supports co-op for up to four players. Head here for more gameplay and to see the different Assist Modes – Basic and Full Assist – in action.
