Soon you might be able to link together several different devices that are all signed into the same Google account.
Citing a post by Android writer Mishaal Rahman, Android Authority reports that Google might soon offer a “link your devices” feature which would allow you to connect together devices signed into the same Google account and share data back and forth or start a call on one device and then pass it off t another to
Once available, the feature will appear under your device settings under the Google menu followed by “Devices & Sharing.”
The feature appears to be similar to the iOS feature “iPhone Mobile Calls” which allows you to make and receive calls from your Mac or iPad as well as your phone. That feature works on any device that is both connected to the same WiFi network and signed into the same Apple account.
Apple does not currently allow users to make and receive calls from two iPhones connected to the same account; however, Android Authority notes that the wording of Google’s feature makes it appear as though that is something it plans t support.
Google has not made an official announcement about the feature just yet, so no word on when (or if) it might arrive.
