When is Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 releasing? That's the question on every eager fan's lips right now. All we know for sure is that the game-changing update will launch before the Phantom Liberty expansion, which is out on the 26th September. That gives us a roughly two and a half week window to work with, and it's assumed that 2.0 will drop sooner rather than later.
Why? Well, that's because ever informative CD Projekt Red community director Marcin Momot has said we're getting more 2.0 info next week. «We should be able to share details about the 2.0 release date next week. Thank you for your patience!» Momot writes on Twitter.
Given CDPR's history of launching big ol' updates alongside blasts of fresh information, we're tempted to believe that 2.0 could be happening next week, which would give players around two weeks to get stuck into a new playthrough before Phantom Liberty. Sounds like good timing to us.
