It goes without saying that Insomniac Games doesn't want Marvel's Spider-Man 2 spoilers to appear online when we're just weeks away from release. At the time of writing this article, we don't think there have been any major leaks, but as we all know by now, you can never be too careful. Pre-launch spoilers for big games are fairly common these days — often because of broken retail release dates — and no developer wants to see its hard work be picked apart.
And it actually sounds like there'll be plenty to unravel in the Spidey sequel. «We worked hard to craft a story PACKED with surprises,» writes the PlayStation Studio on Twitter. «So tread carefully and be mindful of posting spoilers. Let's #BeGreaterTogether: please keep the adventure fresh for everyone!»
It's obviously a nice message, but the reality is that only you can prevent spoilers. So as always, caution is the order of the day — especially as we're now rushing towards the 20th October launch date. Hopefully things stay quiet over the next couple of weeks.
