NVIDIA just announced the latest round of additions to the GeForce NOW cloud library for the current week. The list of 13 PC games is led by Microsoft's Forza Horizon 4 & 5 and Minecraft Dungeons.
Forza Horizon 4, set in Playground's own Great Britain, launched in October 2018 to extremely favorable reviews. Our own Chris Wray rated the game 9.5:
With Forza Horizon 4, there's a sound argument to be made that Playground Games have honed their craft to a near perfection. While there's little doubt that the core gameplay of Forza Horizon 4 hasn't fundamentally differed at all from the previous outing in Australia, the inclusion of seasons, the improvement in graphical fidelity and the sheer quality of content lets it surpass the previous Forza Horizon. Forza Horizon 4 is my favourite and, arguably the best racing game you can play right now.
As it turned out, though, there was still room for improvement. Forza Horizon 5 did even better in 2021, bringing fans to Mexico. While the review score here on Wccftech was the same, the latest installment in the open world racing series broke player records and is still the biggest Xbox launch of this generation in Europe. Just recently, it passed 35 million players.
On GeForce NOW, subscribers at the Priority tier and above can take advantage of NVIDIA DLSS 2 (Super Resolution) and ray tracing, while Ultimate subscribers can also enable DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) to get the smoothest performance.
Minecraft Dungeons wasn't nearly as critically acclaimed, though it still attracted a sizable audience with its dungeon crawler co-op action.
GeForce NOW users can also look forward to day-one releases like Stellaris Nexus, Tin Hearts, Pioneers of Pagonia, Soulslinger: Envoy of Death, and more.
