The N64 is the third console from Nintendo, and it's part of the fifth overall generation as it followed the Super Nintendo, which also still has its own community of dedicated fans that collect the games and merch alike. With how well the N64 sold on release and how many players have been introduced to the console, there are many gamers going beyond collecting the full library and have expanded into rarer items. While this gamer has a Nintendo 64 sign that belongs in such a collection, the owner isn't immediately sure of where it came from, which points even further to its rarity.

Reddit user Scrayt has garnered several hundred upvotes and started a conversation with a photo of their rare N64 sign, reaching out to others for help researching their find. Based on feedback and photos from the N64 era, the rare sign that Scrayt discovered is for the top of demo booths for the consoles that were typically featured at retail outlets that sold them. Though these headers are normally placed at the top of these interactive gaming stations, the one in Scrayt's photo is visibly standalone, which may be exactly what some collectors are looking for.
