Freedom Wars Remastered is almost upon us, with ludicrously long prison sentences being handed down from 10th January on PS5 and PS4. Propaganda icon Percy Propa has an informative new systems trailer for you, allowing your necessary re-education to begin.
The cult-classic Vita game was originally released in 2014, and we'll be fascinated to see how it fares on PS5 and PS4, with, you know, a potential player base. Freedom Wars included fairly robust multiplayer features, like the League of Panopticons, all of which are returning. Still, we don't recall having much luck finding allies back in the day.
In addition to the expected graphical and technical upgrades, some new features designed to make multiplayer play more engaging have been included, as well as the new Deadly Sinner difficulty mode, which hands down even harsher punishments for in-game infractions.
A life sentence

Freedom Wars is one of the permanent mainstays on my Vita. Yeah, I'll check it out.
Euggh, crappy AI voice. I know thematically it makes sense, but I'd rather have a person reading those lines than a machine.
(You can tell in the trailer where it tries to say «where the world's resources have been exhausted»)
