Forza Horizon 5's upcoming Rally Adventure expansion pack is introducing a slew of rally-specific upgrades that will allow players to tweak and tune their regular off-roading vehicles like never before. While upgrading cars is a staple of the franchise and there are a number of rally-specific tunes and tweaks present in the game already, the new DLC aims to take things to a new level in this respect.
While the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC tuned into the franchise's wackier, zanier side with gravity-defying gameplay, the Rally Adventure DLC is going in the opposite direction, serving fans who prefer a more grounded and realistic approach to racing. While the new cars are an exciting prospect in their own right, FH5's rallying expansion isn't going to force players to leave their old favorites behind.
Forza Motorsport's Weather Should be More Than Just Aesthetic
The announcement of Forza Horizon 5's Rally Adventure DLC also highlighted the new Sierra Nueva rally-focused map, 10 all-new cars, and a slew of new driving features to tie the experience together. Soon thereafter, the developer also provided more detail on the new car upgrades, the most notable of which is the anti-lag system. Installing this feature alongside the appropriate rally parts will allow players to turn any given car into a superpowered rallying vehicle, including the classic fire-cracker audio with corresponding flame effects. Launch control, too, is being added to the game as an optional assist, making it that much easier to pull off a perfect start.
The existing Forza rallying upgrades can already improve a car's off-roading capabilities, for sure, but the sound design is crucial in Forza games, and classic turbo fire-crackers in the upcoming DLC
