Elden Ring is getting DLC. That's the news from earlier this week when Bandai Namco made the announcement on Twitter. Alongside confirmation that DLC was on the way came a single teaser image that showed what many believe to be Miquella riding astride Torrent in a field of wheat, the dying remains of the Erdtree in the distance.
Theories abound on what the DLC will be about, with many believing Miquella to be the focus given their central presence in the teaser image. But for all we know, it could be about anything, which makes it easier for Tarnished to assemble their wishlists of content for the Shadow of the Erdtree.

In a post on the Elden Ring subreddit, Tarnished are busily discussing what they want to see in the upcoming DLC. Chief among those requests is a solid length, with user throwawayredtest putting it best: "I know From usually goes for quality over quantity with their dlcs, but I really hope this one is longer."
Luckily, another Redditor did the math and found most Soulsborne DLC is around 25 to 30 percent the length of the base game, with Dark Souls 1 coming in at around 15 percent. That would mean Shadow of the Erdtree will be around 15 to 25 hours, depending on how quick you are with your runs.
The next top request is a quest and ending that focuses on Miquella, which seems to be a pretty safe bet given the teaser image. There's also a theory going around that Miquella may have been the central force guiding the Tarnished to the Erdtree in order to mend the Elden Ring.
