Playground Games has revealed the second expansion coming to Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure. This DLC will release on 29th March across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
This new expansion goes all in on rally racing within the new Sierra Nueva region. This new map features plenty of tricky roads, steep inclines, blind crests and asphalt jumps. Then there’s all of the off-road rallying, with deformable sand roads that feature pre-deformed tire tracks.
There’s different biomes within Sierra Nueva, including the town of Pueblo Artza, the Gkymkhana suitable Abandoned Quarry, Sand Dunes, Desert Gorge, Green Hills, and the “entirely smashable” Palm Forest.
The new rally campaign will see you join one of three teams, taking on the largest number of racing events ever to feature in a Horizon expansion, with timed Horizon Rally stages and multi-car Horizon Races, across dirt, asphalt, and night time races.
True to rally racing, you’ll have callouts for the road ahead, though this comes with a twist. Yes, there’s a familiar icons at the top of the HUD, but the callouts will be coming from some familiar Forza Horizon voices and don’t seem to be strictly like those real rally drivers get. There’s 10 new off-road cars to collect, including:
However, you’ll also be able to upgrade other cars in the game with a new set of rally parts, including an anti-lag system to boost turbo engines even further, and launch control.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will be out on 29th March. Getting access will be possible through the Premium Add-ons Bundle, Premium Edition and Expansions Bundle, or by purchasing it standalone for $19.99 USD.
