Chad Stahelski will direct the film. A stunt performer by trade, Stahelski stood in for actor Brandon Lee to finish The Crow (1994) after Lee's death. He also doubled for Keanu Reeves in The Matrix (1999) and served as a stunt coordinator.
Stahelski has had creative involvement in every John Wick film to date. He co-directed the first John Wick film with David Leitch (Hobbs and Shaw, Bullet Train), and helmed the following two sequels on his own.
Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3, Army of the Dead) and Michael Finch (Hitman: Agent 47) wrote the screenplay.
