John Wick continues to want his personal freedom in Chapter 4, Keanu Reeves said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But that's obviously not going to happen, especially with the High Table after him.
Reeves opened up about John Wick: Chapter 4 with Fallon, specifically talking about the themes behind the action flick. «It's friendship, brotherhood, father, daughter, the choices that you make, rules and consequences, who are you, man,» said Reeves, really emphasizing the last word.
Fallon pointed out that there were 14 action sequences in the new John Wick film, which Reeves seemingly confirmed. Reeves also says there is a bit of improvisation in those scenes. They also talked about how Wick shoots people on a horse, along with nunchucks, throwing stars, and crazy driving being featured in the flick.
Reeves shares a clip from the movie as well. The scene shows Wick with the aforementioned nunchucks facing off about Caine, played by Donnie Yen.
This all «starts with trying to get my ring back, but that doesn't work so well,» Reeves said about Wick in Chapter 4. «I get a little angry.»
Wick might be angry, but Reeves probably isn't with the John Wick: Chapter 4 reviews so far. As for the future, Wick will be seen in the Ballerina spin-off starring Ana de Armas, but afterward, the assassin may be hanging up his well-tailored suit for a bit. John Wick: Chapter 4 director recently mentioned that the franchise will take a break.
John Wick: Chapter 4 premieres March 24.
