Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is here, and it’s set to bring new rules to FNCS Major 2. In this new season, Fortnite players can also expect to see major changes in other formats, new competitions, and the return of Victory Cash Cups.
Ever since its launch back in 2017, the developers of Fortnite are always working hard to keep the game interesting by adding and subtracting many features, as well as game modes, areas, and events. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 ended with a blast as the sky opened after the Rift Gate destruction, and now Chapter 4 Season 2 is here with more weapons, skins, and a cool new Japanese-inspired aesthetic.

The official Fortnite channel unveiled information about what its vibrant competitive scene will look like in the new season. One of the major changes is that FNCS Major 2 will stop using the previous Divisional Cup system, which is part of a larger effort to let more players compete. Instead, a new, more robust system will be implemented. Players will be able to participate in FNCS Weekly sessions, then have their scores combined across both Thursday’s and Friday’s FNCS Major Weekly Competition sessions, according to the official website. Only the top 50 teams each week will make it into the Weekly Finals. After each week, teams will get Series Points and the top 40 will qualify for the FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals, which will happen between May 12 to 14.
Chapter 4 Season 2 will offer Fortnite players the chance to compete in Fill Cups with random teammates, which allows gamers to make new friends and find good partners for future competitions. The classic Victory Cash Cups will also be returning this season on Sundays and will let
