After nearly a year as a PS5 console exclusive, Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have announced the paranormal action-dventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo will be launching on Xbox Series X and S in April. But that’s not all – in addition to the new platform, Ghostwire: Tokyo will be getting a substantial update, which will be main-evented by the new “The Spider’s Thread” mode – a challenging gauntlet that should be a serious test of your skills. In addition to that, Tango has also expanded the game’s world with some spookier, more strongly horror-themed areas, added new enemies, and more.
Here are more details on what to expect from the Ghostwire: Tokyo Spider’s Thread update…
Good to see Bethesda going all-in on giving Ghostwire: Tokyo a second chance, as it didn’t quite get the attention it deserved last year I think. Of course, now that the game is coming to Xbox, it will also be available on Game Pass, so the barrier to trying the game out has been lowered significantly.
Ghostwire: Tokyo can be played now on PC and PS5. The game launches on Xbox Series X/S alongside the Spider’s Thread update on April 12. What do you think? Interested in giving the game a try?
