Microsoft launched Xbox Game Pass in 2017, and some consider it the premier gaming subscription service due to its vast catalog and cloud gaming feature. The platform is constantly getting new games, including several this month, with Civilization 6 arriving on Game Pass today and Ni no Kuni 2, MLB The Show 23, and more coming later in March. Meanwhile, former PS5 exclusive Ghostwire Tokyo is slated for Xbox Game Pass next month.
Xbox Game Pass Confirms Another Day One Game for 2024
Publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer Toge Productions announced Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly last November, and it is now available for pre-order on PC and consoles. The studio announced the pre-orders with a new trailer earlier today and confirmed the game's April 20 release date. Coffee Talk Episode 2 will also be on Xbox Game Pass from day one, letting subscribers enjoy the game on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S at no additional cost.
Toge Productions released the original Coffee Talk in January 2020. Described by developers as a «coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator,» players take the role of a barista in an alternate universe version of Seattle, Washington, where humans live alongside fantasy creatures like elves, orcs, succubi, and more. Featuring relaxing lo-fi music and beautiful pixel art, players mixed drinks while getting to know the various colorful characters who come and go from their cafe.
