The upcoming season hasn't been short on leaks and rumors as fans eagerly await what Epic Games has in store for Fortnite. Its latest Chapter 4 Season 2 teaser indicates what direction Fortnite might take over the next few months.
In the weeks leading up to the new season, much has been said about what Fortnite fans can expect, with some leaks claiming new Resident Evil skins are reportedly coming, in line with the Resident Evil 4 remake. A more recent leak hints at a possible first-person mode in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, a feature that fans have long requested Epic Games to add to the game. Now it appears the upcoming season will have more enticing updates for players.

Earlier today, Twitter users noticed new hashflags, "#FortniteMEGA" and "#GoToMEGA" with the «MEGA» part appended to the hashtag in neon-green Japanese text. Along with the new Fortnite hashflag, teaser images also began surfacing online which strongly indicates that Chapter 4 Season 2 will follow a Japanese sci-fi theme. Although Epic Games is yet to make any official revelations, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will kick off March 9 and is rumored to run until July 16 as the new Fortnite hashflag is reportedly going to remain online until that date. This would pan the new season to four months, which would be interesting, to say the least, should it actually be the case.
