Former NFL Star Digs Up A GameFAQs Thread To Try To Dunk On His Rival
Two former NFL cornerbacks are throwing jabs at each other on social media, which has hilariously led to one of them bringing up an old GameFAQs thread in their back and forth. It all apparently started when Asante Samuel alluded to New York media overhyping players in that market.
Sports Illustrated reports this led Revis, a soon-to-be Hall of Fame cornerback who played for the New York Jets, to go after Samuel after he seemingly implied a current Jet--Sauce Gardner--was overrated as a defensive back in the NFL. Samuel countered with a GameFAQs post (a GameSpot sister site) from apparently 8 years ago on Twitter.
