The developer of Star Citizen, Cloud Imperium, has acquired Canadian studio Turbulent.
The two companies have been working together for almost 11 years already. This acquisition follows Cloud Imperium buying a 25 per cent shareholder stake in Montreal-based Turbulent back in 2020.
The studio's management will remain in charge of running the company. CTO Benoit Beauséjour and CEO Marc Beaudet are also becoming shareholders in Cloud Imperium.
No figure has been put on the acquisition.
