The Fontinalia Festival commemorates the legendary Lochknights who welcomed the former Hydro Archon Egeria to Fontaine. And this year, a new way to celebrate is proposed, that is — the Fontinalia Film Festival! The public is invited to submit films for evaluation and the entry with the highest score will be presented with the “Furina Award” by the Fontaine Film Association.
While the local talents and even Furina herself are busy making their films, guests from abroad like you the Traveler, the Kamisato siblings and Inazuma-born fashion icon Chiori are also invited to attend. Kamisato Ayato and Ayaka are invited by Xavier as actors. And Chiori, the owner of the famous Chioriya Boutique in the Court of Fontaine and designer of Navia, Lyney, and Lynette’s clothes, will finally appear in the story.
For non-filmmakers, there are festival booths and mini-games where one can explore filming or just have fun. At the “Into the Frame” booth, participants can discover different camera positions and narrative techniques to make a short film.
