Activision has detailed the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update.
Released over the weekend, the patch largely targeted multiplayer and Zombies issues that came to light following the game’s release on Friday.
XP and weapon XP rates have been increased in the multiplayer modes Team Deathmatch, Control, Search & Destroy and Gunfight.
“Our team is closely monitoring XP rates for all modes to ensure players are progressing as expected wherever they play,” Activision said.
The update also resolved issues related to loadouts, Operators, and the game’s store. We’ve republished the patch notes in full below.
Developers Treyarch and Raven Software are currently working to address a number of known issues, which are detailed on the Black Ops 6 Trello board.
These include “a rare issue where players have reported dying upon selecting a loadout in Search & Destroy”, an issue “where players may receive the wrong weapon when selecting a custom loadout”, and an issue “where players automatically spawn in-game rather than spectating when joining in-progress”.
While the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 release date has yet to be confirmed, it may have leaked via a retailer promotion.
Pizza chain Little Caesars has reportedly informed competition entrants that the first major content update for the new Call of Duty will drop on November 14.
