Final Necrom Gameplay Trailer Shows The Conflict Over Knowledge and Power to Come

With The Elder Scrolls Online’s Necrom chapter out on June 5th for PC and Mac, there's a new final trailer out, featuringHermaeus Mora’s task and his agents defending his secrets.

The Shadow Over Morrowind arc is in full play, and the trailer not only shows off some of the terrain and the bestiary, it features a ton of gameplay to prepare for. And tentacles. Mora’s and others’. It begins with Mora keeping knowledge, and continues with looks at gameplay and some of the challenges that lie ahead.

In terms of Necrom , and the plot to play through, Hermaeus Mora will make you a significant offer to help him out, so one of those agents could be you. One of those loyal to Mora is narrating the trailer, making comments about the enemies growing bolder, and you'll see  several examples, including how some will fight them off. We see clips from boss fights, cutscenes, arrivals, and several of the new content’s locations we’ll all get to explore very soon. We also get to see Arcanists in action, using their new Crux system. 

Locations will range from everything you remember about Morrowind and cities, towers, and dark magical spaces, to entire realms that will shift. We see a lot of representations of all the knowledge that Mora is in control of, that everybody else wants a piece of, and which he has promised a bit to you, along with the power it grants, should you help him out. Whether, or how, he holds up that end of the deal if you are successful, remains to be seen when the content is out, but the gameplay trailer does a good job setting things up. 

The skeptical narrator scoffs at Mora having chosen mortals to help him, but admits, “they seem to be full of surprises”.
