Aliens Dark Descent story trailer shows the threats on Lethe
Aliens Dark Descent has a new story trailer which shows a mix of cinematics and gameplay. In the trailer for Aliens Dark Descent, the main focal point is Maeko Hayes, Deputy Administrator at Lethe’s Pioneer Station, as she tries to survive the Xenomorphs as well as other elements that are working against her.
As the trailer shows, the Otega has crash landed on the planet of Lethe, which has come under heavy attack from Xenomorphs. Even worse is that the Cerberus Protocol has been initiated, stopping all ships from leaving the planet or landing on it, and the androids will enforce that lockdown as seen in the trailer. The only thing that the people left can do is fight for survival, and many of them will not survive the onslaught. The enemies will include the standard Xenomorphs as well as Queens and Facehuggers, plus other enemies to boot.
Aliens: Dark Descent is a real-time tactical action game that puts you in command of a team of Marines as they explore yet another one of those Xenomorph outbreaks after crashing onto the planet of Lethe. You will have to recruit and level up your squad of Colonial Marines before setting out on missions and trying to strategically move your way through the large open environments, perhaps completing side objectives along the way. Death is permanent in the game, so once a character dies that is the end for them. You issue commands while in slow motion, due to Aliens Dark Descent being real time, and these are then handed out automatically to the most appropriate Marine in your control.
Aliens: Dark Descent will release on 20th June 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
