Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games' upcoming sequel to the greatly-popular f2p Diablo competitor Path of Exile, has received an impressive gameplay trailer.
With Diablo 4 now being available globally, some might forget about Path of Exile 2, which is expected to be released somewhere next year. Without a doubt, Diablo 4 is a good-looking title, and a major step up from Diablo 2012's Diablo 3. Still, from what we've seen from Path of Exile 2, the sequel to 2013's Path of Exile is the better-looking game, and this new short gameplay teaser shows just that. This new 'Aggorat' gameplay trailer debuted during the PC Gaming Show and boasts some impressive visuals. Check it out down below and judge for yourself:
POE2 (as most of you will call it) will be playable at Exilecon 2023 in New Zealand from July 29-30. The game was officially announced in 2019 and will offer seven new acts which will share an end-game with the original Path of Exile. In addition, the game will feature overhauled game systems, art, environments, character classes, and more.
"Path of Exile 2 also comes with an outstanding fresh musical score created by in-house composer, Kamil Orman Janowski who is a fan favorite among Path of Exile players due to the exceptional quality of his music and endearing persona", an official press release about the sequel reads. "Behind the Music - Act One gives a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming Path of Exile 2 art and, most notably, a sneak peek at the new soundtrack. Kamil provides insight into his composition process, inspirations, and more."
