Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster has achieved a significant milestone since launching in July 2021 for PC and mobile. It’s sold three million units across all platforms, including the recent PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions.
How the sales break down per game is unknown, but considering its last milestone was May 2023, with over two million copies sold, this is pretty good growth.Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster consists of remasters for Final Fantasy 1 to 6, with updated sprites, a rearranged soundtrack (with the original still available) and a new pixel font in addition to the old one.
You can also turn off random battles and increase the XP gain, making it easier to focus on the story.Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster retails for $74.99, but you can pick up the first two games for $11.99 each and Final Fantasy 3-6 for $17.99 each. Such is the success of the collection that Square is “considering” ideas for other Pixel Remasters in the future, though nothing has been announced yet.
A victory fanfare awaits!
