Following reports that the Aquaman star was in talks to star in the action sequel, Fast & Furious 10 officially casts Jason Momoa for an unknown role. Plot details are currently unknown on the upcoming installment in Universal's action franchise, though the film will serve as the first in a two-part story to close out the mainline Fast & Furious series. Original cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang are all slated to return for Fast & Furious 10, alongside newer series vet Nathalie Emmanuel.
Fast & Furious 10 will also see the return of Justin Lin to direct both parts of the finale, marking his sixth time behind the camera for the franchise after joining with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and initially departing with Fast & Furious 6. He most recently came back with F9: The Fast Saga, which marked the first time franchise scribe Chris Morgan didn't pen the script, with Lin instead co-writing with Daniel Casey, but the upcoming installment will see Morgan return to write. Production on Fast & Furious 10 is gearing up to begin this spring and fans of the franchise have an exciting new face joining the roster.
