A new DC trailer offers fans their first look at Arthur Curry's (Jason Momoa) two suits in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Following their first successful team-up for 2018's Aquaman, the actor is reuniting with director James Wan for the sequel. Set to release in December 2022, the blockbuster tackles Arthur's journey as he officially becomes the king of Atlantis.
Principal photography for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom started in June 2021 and ended earlier this year. This gives Wan and his team enough time to polish the flick as it enters its post-production stage. Specific plot details are still scant at the moment, but a behind-the-scenes trailer released during DC FanDome 2021 gave fans an idea of what to expect from the sequel. Now, however, Warner Bros. is sharing official footage from the movie, focusing on its titular character as he learns how to rule Atlantis while also maintaining his connection with human beings.
