Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Patrick Wilson teases crazy fight scenes to come from the sequel and what James Wan has in store. Wilson made his DC Extended Universe debut in the first Aquaman film as Orm Marius, the titular hero's Atlantean half-brother who was the king of Atlantis at the time of the film. However, Arthur would dethrone Orm before he could enact his plans to unite all of the ocean kingdoms and wage war on the surfaced continents, with the help of Black Manta.
The sequel to the film will see Wilson return alongside Jason Momoa as Arthur/Aquaman, Amber Heard as his love interest Mera, Dolph Lundgren as Xebel King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as David Kane/Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin. Plot details are unknown for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, though it hails from a story developed by Wan with original co-writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who penned the script solo for the new film. Following multiple delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, production on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom kicked off in June 2021 and with it having finally concluded, those behind the film are offering new details on what's to come.
