Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of December 4, 2023 to December 10, 2023.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Switch was the highest selling game last week, moving an additional 82,470 retail copes. It was followed by Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! at 62,488 units, and Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince at 51,698 units.
New games like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and DoDonPachi Blissful Death Re:Incarnation launched last week, but did not chart in the top 10.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 92776 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 44166 units, the Xbox Series family sold 2,508 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,109 units.
