Electronic Arts has announced a June 16, 2023 release date for F1 23.
The latest entry in the Codemasters-developed racing series will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via EA App, Epic Games Store and Steam.
The game was unveiled on Wednesday with a reveal trailer which is viewable below.
Headlining this year’s series entry is the return of the story mode Braking Point, which debuted in F1 2021 before being omitted from last year’s series entry.
It casts former rivals Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler as teammates for Konnersport Racing Team, a new fictitious organisation pitting itself against the current crop of real-world F1 teams and drivers.

F1 23 will play home to every team, driver and circuit for the 2023 season, including the new Las Vegas Grand Prix.
As part of a recently announced partnership with Max Verstappen, EA confirmed that the back-to-back and reigning Formula 1 world champion will be the cover star for the digital-only F1 23 Champions Edition.
“The return of Braking Point allows players to immerse themselves in a racing story, which provides a unique look at F1 alongside the authentic race features our players know and love,” said Lee Mather, senior creative director at Codemasters.
“Our close relationship with the teams has allowed us to refine our handling model, adding greater realism to pad-play, and implementing a new colour encoding system used in film and TV creates a more true-to-life experience.”
