The Umbrella Academy season 3 faces the Sparrow Academy — here is every member of Reginald Hargreeves’ new team explained. The titular characters have faced off against many an adversary, but perhaps none more formidable than the Sparrow Academy, a group of seven super-powered children who were also born on October 1, 1989.
Adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves in an alternate timeline following the Umbrella Academy’s return from 1963, the Sparrow Academy are also unique in that they were born under mysterious circumstances. Frustrated and annoyed with his original choices, Reginald decided to go a completely different route with his picks after meeting the Umbrella Academy in 1963. Unlike the Umbrella Academy, however, the Sparrows have trained well into adulthood, working together in a way the former have yet to quite master because they split up when they were younger. With the same number of members, the Sparrow Academy is strong and proved they could take on the Umbrella Academy — at least for a while before Viktor showed off what he could do.

But who is each member of the Sparrow Academy and what kind of power were they born with? Christopher is especially a mystery, and the team, listed as chronologically labeled by Reginald, have distinct and intriguing powers and personalities that allow them to stand out from the Umbrella Academy.
