Sony recently announced that they're porting Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered to PC, and adding several graphic improvement features so players with top-tier hardware can experience the superhero game in unparalleled beauty. The original 2018 PlayStation-only release was met with favorable reviews from both critics and fans, and its highly satisfying gameplay is often highlighted as its greatest strength. This marks the second time Spider-Man has been remastered, and it will be followed by a PC port of Spider-Man: Miles Morales at some point this autumn.
This iteration of Marvel's Spider-Man story sees Peter Parker swinging through a dynamic open-world New York City as he struggles to balance his superhero antics with personal responsibilities. This universe is a reimagining of the traditional Spider-Man narrative featuring classic characters in unique roles- in the beginning, Peter works with Otto Octavius as his research assistant while volunteering at a homeless shelter called F.E.A.S.T. Players luckily get to skip the origin story this time, as the starring Spider-Man already has eight years of experience.
