Battlestate Games announced that the Escape From Tarkov: Arena closed beta is now live, with invites going out for players today… The long-awaited chaotic multiplayer shooter invites are being sent out in waves, so those who have signed up might be able to dive right in.
Tarkov Arena was first revealed back in December 2022, with Battlestate games drip-feeding info throughout the last year. We caught up with the team at TwitchCon 2023 , where players learned that it will have a more Call of Duty feel than the base game. Though the spin-off will still have the same shooting mechanics as the original, the maps have been downsized to allow for quicker entry into matches. This downsizing has gotten a lot of positive feedback, as jumping into a multiplayer shooter with gigantic maps can be a bit intimidating to newer players.

Instead, Battlestate Games announced their very first Arena Tournament.
According to the tournament's description on the official Tarkov: Arena website, there will be a total of six teams competing head-to-head for the grand prize of €100,000. There are two stages to this tournament, the first being the Best-of-One round-robin. The second stage will consist of the top four teams duking it out in a Best-of-Three format, ending with a double elimination.
